MUSIC CLASSROOM RULES

BE RESPECTFUL

  1. Enter Classroom quietly, sit according to teachers directions.

  2. Voices should be whisper (Library level) unless you raise your hand and are called upon. NO talking during teacher’s directions or when other students are sharing.

  3. NO PUT DOWNs! Hands and Feet to yourself.

  4. Music should be treated as if you own it, you will be fined for any damage you do to music during the year.

BE SAFE

1. Feet under chair, all four legs of the chair remain on the floor at all times.

  1. Safety rails, Hand off! They become loose easily.

  2. Fire and Tornado Drill routines: hallway for tornado, Outside basketball court for fire.

DO YOUR BEST!

(PARTICIPATION)

  1. In the music classroom you are expected to participate in whatever activity we are engaged in: singing, dancing, listening, discussion, paperwork etc., doing your best is not just expected, it is required!

In the music classroom, you will be encouraged and disciplined if you do not participate.

In the Chorus (7th and 8th) classroom, you will be removed if this rule is not followed.
