4th Grade Written Language

Paragraph writing is the 4th graders challenge. We continue to build on the writing skills begun in the lower elementary years like writing in complete sentences and mechanics. We focus on using a main idea sentence to start our paragraphs and then go on to add interesting detail sentences.

Writing is used in all subject areas to give students a purpose for their writing.
