He was a three-year letter winner, which included a combined 56-10 team record. Mr. Shyrock was unanimous first team all-conference his junior and senior year and all-state those two years as well. Coach Don King called Larry, a great team player. Upon graduation, he attended Coe College and became a three-year starter. During his senior season he was named Most Valuable Player. Mr. Shyrock was named to the Nevada Hall of Fame in 1994. Presently he is the Executive Vice president and statewide credit executive of the commercial baking department of Texas Commerce Bank.
