Jon
Holstine

Jon Holstine is a 2000 graduate of
Nevada. A multi-sport athlete who
had a hand in two state championships and
was named all-state in three different
sports his senior year. Jon was a
two year starter for the basketball team
and three year letter winner for the
Cubs. His Junior year he was a
unanimous first team all-conference
performer, first team all-district, All
Mid-Iowa, and honorable mention
all-state. During his senior year he
was once again a unanimous first team
all-conference performer, a first team
all-district selection, was the Mid-Iowa
player of the year and was named second
team all-state. Jon was selected to
the Goal Setters all-star game. At
the time of graduation, Jon held or shared
with teammates 13 school records.
