Raise the Curtain on the New Auditorium
This fundraising campaign will raise
funds to construct a $3.9 million, 600 seat auditorium to serve Nevada
and the surrounding region.
Named Josephine Tope Community Auditorium, the facility is in memory of
Mrs. Tope, whose foundation has pledged a $2 million challenge grant.
The capital campaign is seeking approximately $1.9 million in
private funds from individuals, businesses, corporations and
foundations.
Operating costs for maintenance are estimated at appoximately $46,000.
As with other school districts, the school will be responsible for this
expenditure. An endowment fund will be established for future
improvements.
